Nakamurarou, located in Yasaka shrine in Kyoto, was established in the Muromachi era. We started as a public teahouse in Monzen, and then we were noted as an outstanding teahouse restaurant in the later Edo era.

Soon after the cultural enlightenment of the Westernization movement, we became the first restaurant to offer Western food in Japan. This tradition opened its heart to Chef Kishimoto.
